Seven, SJ, Jan, Krishna, and Liam in Cynthia’s and Danielle class built a strong card base that sustained a hole table and six chairs on May 10th in thirty minutes! Seven started building the tower because he got inspired by Sosha’s video about how to build a card tower. After seven started building, other kids joined and created a table sized base layer to fit a table and 6 chairs!
NASA: Helping save the Elephants, Jaguars, and Tigers

NASA is sending satellites into space to look at the earth and see stuff that helps these animals; for example, they are helping the tigers by seeing the places the tigers are not in yet that would be good for them to live in. They are also seeing the places to protect for the jaguars that would be good habitats for them. They are finding two places that elephants live in and creating protected pathways between the two so they can have more space altogether.

Warrior cats is a very popular book series that lots of kids like. If you are interested in reading the Warrior cats books and don’t know where to start, then this is the article for you. this year is a big year for Warrior cats, the final book in the latest series of Warrior cats, Star, the last of the six books from the series A Starless Clan, will come out on November 5th, 2024. Also, a new special addition, Ivypool’s Heart will come out on September 3ed, 2024, and on July 2024 the Prophecies Begin graphic novel will come out. If you have not read the Warrior cats books, but you want to start reading them then you should start on the first series, The Prophecies Begin. The age range of Warrior cats is likely about stage 3 second years and up, although Warrior cats may not be the right books for you if you are sensitive to blood, animal death, and violence; there are also sometimes detailed deaths and battles. On the Warrior cats website, you can enter your Warrior cats fan art challenges every month, you can also test your Warrior cats knowledge, with quizzes and read articles made by the writers of Warrior cats. Also, the next Warrior cats series was just announced it will be the ninth Warrior cats arc; the name of this arc is Changing Skies, and the writers are already working on the first book. Breaking news! Stage IV student Max T. has won an NAACP award! He won $350 and a meeting with President Biden. You see, a few weeks ago there was an art contest and Max wanted to enter so he put together a masterpiece and now has won second place in the contest. He doesn’t know what he wants to do with the money, but it’s really cool! He made a painting of Martin Luther King Jr, Rosa Parks, and John Lewis that pleased the judges and shares a message of standing up for social justice.

The Roeper high school baseball team had a game on May 6th. They played at the minor league field the Jimmy Johns Stadium against Lutheran Westland. Their coach Todd has a connection with the Jimmy Johns’ field, so he gets the team a game there every year. There was a bus ride to the game for stage IV kids who signed up to go. Here are the Players, Griffin, Conor, Alexi, Oscar, Lennon, James, Hollis, Lucas, Trevor, and Daniel also their coaches Todd and Brian. The Roeper Roughriders won the game as you know, the score was 6-2.

imagine casually dining at a seafood restaurant on April 27, and then suddenly hearing a woman scream to her husband “MY WATER’S BREAKING! GO GET THE CAR!” that’s how it must’ve been for the people at lily’s seafood restaurant that day. luckily for Alyse Sparkman, the woman who gave birth, two nurses and a phlebotomist, who used to do bloodwork for babies, were sitting next to the couple. around 8:00 pm that night, Penolope Lily Sparkman came into the world. happy birthday!
