The Martian Marathon at Roeper is an after-school project where you run a marathon over time. For those who don’t know what marathons are, they are a 26.2-mile race. After a while a lot of schools all gather in one place which is the Ford Field Park and run the last 1.2 miles of the marathon! The school groups do all run at different times. Two groups would go, and then two more would go behind them when they get far. The track started at a leafy part under a U-shaped tree line then you go up a short hill, then you go across a playground across a street and then onto the sidewalk. Then you go all the way to the corner (which is a really long distance) then you go around the corner into the parking lot then through it halfway and turn right onto a bridge then you turn left and go up a muddy steep hill. After that, you go straight then down a steep hill then you turn left, and the finish line is right there! For anyone who can I very much suggest running in the Martian Marathon next year if you can!
