| Stages I and II are studying the ocean. Stage II is learning about the coral reef because it’s one of the biggest ecosystems ever. They learned from Sosha and Carmen how to research with the encyclopedia and PebbleGo. They are studying animals that live near or on the coral reef. They are making sculptures out of clay of their animals. They’re going to set up a museum in the Domes so Stage I can learn about it. Amber and Karen’s class is learning about the ocean because kids were curious about it. They are learning about creatures, zones, and how to clean up ocean pollution. They are going to a field trip to Sea Life Aquarium to see lots of ocean animals and learn more about them. Seth B. shared that “turtles can go fast in the water but slow in land.” Jennifer and Mara’s class studied the ocean a couple months ago and also went to the aquarium. |
